Mississippi River actually appeared to Master Blender Joe Lankford in a dream. Awakened from a sound sleep he grabbed a pencil and scribbled a recipe before the memory faded. The next morning he used those notes to create a Virginia blend like no other. Mississippi River was born. These then packed into oak rum barrels, aged for 30 days, pressed into cakes and crumble kake cut. The result? Perfect balance of rum essence with a Virginia style blend. A chunk of rum barrel rests in every tin. This special edition contains rare Virginias with oriental leaf, a pinch of Latakia and Perique.
